Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate production and project schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety, quality, and company standards. The role collaborates with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Production to align resources and monitor work orders.

The Scheduler will maintain schedules, issue materials, track progress, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize workflow and meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading and validating work orders.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules and coordinate with departments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and adjust production and project schedules.
• Review, confirm, print, and distribute work orders.
• Process work order receipts, completions, and closures.
• Add new work orders to weekly production schedules and update priorities.
• Monitor work order status and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with department supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Issue inventory and materials to work orders.
• Support scheduling initiatives and workload leveling.
• Track production performance and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Review work orders for completeness and accuracy; coordinate corrections.
• Serve as central communication between Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Production teams.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling processes and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
