Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 3+ years experience OR 5+ years relevant experience.
• 3+ years in supply chain or operations management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule customer orders and create production schedules that meet customer due dates and shipment forecasts.
• Ensure smooth workflow through the shop by coordinating with Production Supervisor and Shift Leads.
• Maintain up-to-date order and manufacturing dates in current reports.
• Alert Production Supervisor promptly if due dates can't be met or schedules need adjustment, explaining the reasons.
• Monitor jobs closely to identify potential delays early and allow time for corrective action.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor and Inventory Control to requisition necessary parts and materials.
• Develop supply schedules that balance customer demand with inventory levels and resource use.
• Negotiate and resolve conflicts related to material availability and scheduling priorities.
• Suggest and implement improvements to scheduling processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
