Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling and monitoring in a manufacturing environment is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling and monitoring in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel experience required.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience with inventory control is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules production for various departments throughout the plant.
• Reviews, modifies, and updates production schedules daily based on customer inquiries, collaboration with leadership, and material availability.
• Coordinates and communicates with other locations and with shipping regarding load completions and carrier pickups.
• Corresponds with customer service on schedule changes and production challenges.
• Reviews daily Interplant Transfer Reports to determine material priority from extrusion suppliers.
• Reviews inventory levels to ensure raw material is available to meet production schedule.
• Tracks material from extrusion suppliers daily and communicates issues to keep production schedules.
• Works with department leads to review production issues and adjust schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Works with ERP to determine capacity requirements and to ensure accurate customer delivery acknowledgements.
