Job summary

Dymax in Torrington, Connecticut, is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and implement production schedules, ensuring WO completion on time and in compliance with quality standards.

You will optimize equipment capacity, materials, and manpower daily, coordinate with S&OP, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams, and drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve asset utilization and schedule reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Planner and Scheduler role.
• Bachelor of Science degree in related discipline, or equivalent
• Good knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise- preferred
• 3+ years in the Operations and Manufacturing environment
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; strong analytical acumen
• knowledge and practice in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely WO completion.
• Optimize equipment capacity, raw materials, WIP, and manpower in daily schedules.
• Meet LSOT by coordinating with S&OP, Procurement, Production, Customer Service, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Communicate schedule updates to relevant departments.
• Balance supply with demand by managing resources and addressing fluctuations.
• Improve asset utilization through Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Maintain daily schedule visibility and record-keeping of production schedules.
