Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems in the United States seeks a Production Scheduler to translate demand into executable schedules by machine/work center. You will develop daily to monthly loading plans, balance capacity against demand, and coordinate with Operations, Materials, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery.

Requires experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel/data analysis skills; familiarity with Lean principles and multiple manufacturing cells is expected. On-site role in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or materials planning preferred.
• Experience in a multi-machine/work-center manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of capacity, cycle and setup times, routings, and constraints.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand, orders, forecasts into detailed production schedules by machine/work center.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly loading schedules based on quantities and due dates.
• Review capacity and balance against demand, identify overloads/underutilization.
• Coordinate priorities with Operations, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure materials, tooling, programs, fixtures, drawings are available before scheduling.
• Monitor performance and adjust schedules as conditions change.
• Maintain visibility of utilization, capacity, backlog, and adherence.
• Support capacity planning and communicate risks affecting delivery.
• Maintain ERP/MRP scheduling information and participate in planning meetings.
