Job summary

SANY America is seeking a Production Control Specialist to coordinate production schedules, monitor material availability, track work orders, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, inventory control, or supply chain and be comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with ERP/MRP and SAP exposure and strong Excel/analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, industrial engineering, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in production control, production planning, manufacturing, materials management, inventory control, or supply chain.
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
Heavy equipment, automotive, construction equipment, or industrial manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and monitor daily and weekly production schedules.
Track production orders from release through completion.
Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or constraints.
Coordinate production priorities based on customer demand and material availability.
Monitor parts and material availability to prevent production interruptions.
Identify shortages and coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
Maintain accurate production and inventory information within ERP/MRP systems.
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues.
Track key production metrics, including schedule attainment, output, shortages, and on-time completion.
Prepare production reports and provide status updates to management.
Support inventory accuracy and cycle-count activities.
Identify opportunities to improve production flow, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
