Job description

As a Production Scheduler II here at Honeywell, you will report directly to our Materials Management Manager, and you’ll work out of our Danville, KY location. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure materials and resources are available, and monitoring production progress to meet customer demands. Your expertise will help optimize production workflows, reduce delays, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production operations. By meticulously planning and scheduling production activities, you will help minimize downtime, reduce waste, and ensure timely delivery of products to our customers. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, ultimately supporting Honeywell's mission to create a more connected and productive world.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and maximize operational efficiency.

+ Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources for production.

+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production delays and inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

+ Create and maintain the production schedule based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity

+ Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources

+ Monitor production progress and adjust the schedule as needed to meet customer demands

+ Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks that may impact the schedule

+ Continuously improve the scheduling process to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain management.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong MS Excel skills

+ Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Knowledge of ERP systems and their applications in production control.
