Job summary

Uni-Form Components Corp is seeking a Production Coordinator to support the execution and accuracy of the production schedule. You will coordinate shop floor activities, track work in process, and ensure timely communication between Production, Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Shipping, and Production Control.

You will walk the floor to verify status, maintain the master production schedule, provide status updates, and monitor WIP.

Qualifications

• Ability to read production schedules, work orders, travelers, and routings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Walk the production floor to verify status, priorities, and workflow.
• Maintain and update the master production schedule based on activity.
• Provide accurate and timely status updates on jobs in production.
• Monitor WIP and identify at-risk or stalled jobs.
• Coordinate movement of materials, travelers, and jobs between departments.
• Communicate priorities and schedule changes with supervisors and leads.
• Maintain ERP transactions, job status updates, and inventory movements.
• Prepare production updates and daily meeting information.
