Job summary

Neros Technologies, a defense technology company, seeks a production planner to own the daily build and ship schedules for our defense hardware manufacturing. You will work between supply chain, production, and engineering to translate material availability and demand into a practical, SKU-level plan.

You will publish the daily plan, prioritize orders for packout, and partner with manufacturing leadership to adjust schedules as conditions change.

Qualifications

3+ years in production planning, scheduling, or production control in a physical manufacturing environment.
Experience building an executable production schedule against constrained material availability and changes.
Fluency with routings, bills of material, work orders, and revision control.
Hands-on experience with an MES or ERP as a daily user.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

Attend supply chain and material reviews to establish a 30-day clear-to-build picture by SKU and constraints.
Publish and maintain a daily SKU-level production build plan against material, labor, and test capacity.
Reconcile plan vs. actual daily and coordinate recovery with leadership.
Partner with BD, PM, and logistics to build the daily ship list for packout.
Confirm configuration content and documentation before an order reaches packout.
Create, release, and track production work orders in MES.
Monitor WIP aging and throughput to inform the daily plan.
Coordinate with MES Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer on process plan changes.
