Job summary

Entegris in Decatur, TX is seeking a Production Scheduler Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6-month assignment will support manufacturing operations by assisting with production scheduling, order prioritization, and capacity planning.

You will help maintain schedules, monitor adherence, and identify constraints affecting delivery performance while gaining hands-on experience with ERP and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules.
• Monitor production progress and update schedules based on changing priorities.
• Review open orders and help prioritize work to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Identify material shortages, capacity constraints, and other scheduling risks.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to resolve schedule issues.
• Maintain accurate scheduling data within the ERP system.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as Schedule Compliance and On-Time Shipment.
• Support production planning meetings by preparing reports and schedule updates.
• Analyze production data and recommend opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on scheduling, planning, and operational performance.
