Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering is seeking a Production Scheduler to optimize master production schedules using ERP systems and close collaboration with the planning team. The role focuses on leveling load, coordinating with additive production and CNC operations, and driving mitigation when schedules slip.

The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to communicate with multiple stakeholders to meet customer delivery commitments and improve throughput.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in an office environment with production scheduling experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Experience in production scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the master production schedule.
• Own and manage work cell and resource schedules to meet delivery dates.
• Raise mitigation plans to leadership when due dates cannot be met.
• Drive purchasing to align with production schedules and material needs.
• Monitor equipment utilization and suggest shifts to optimize throughput.
• Participate in continuous improvement to reduce lead times and improve efficiency.
• Analyze data and prepare reports on supply chain performance.

Description

As the Production Scheduler at ADDMAN, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production schedules. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize the ERP to level load production schedules with direction from the Production Planning Manager. Upon level loading if there are projects requiring mitigation it will be raised to production leadership for action. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, tactical execution, and effective communication with various stakeholders to optimize meet production demands. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, analytical abilities, and an understanding of computer programs such as Proshop ERP.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Production Scheduling: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including additive production, CNC Machining, solutions engineering, and program management, to adjust and maintain a comprehensive master production schedule.
• Work Cell Scheduling, Be the owner of all resource schedules with the facility and schedule new work within work cells to meet system defined requirement dates to meet customer deliveries.
• Mitigation Planning: raise awareness to production leadership when system defined due dates cannot be achieved based on current capacities so that they can put mitigation strategies in place to resolve.
• Purchase Order Management: drive the purchasing team to create, issue, and manage purchase orders for materials and services in accordance with production schedules.
• Utilization Planning, monitor utilization of equipment and suggest shifts to production leadership to optimize throughput
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize overall performance.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize various tools and systems to gather and analyze data related to supply chain performance, vendor performance, and inventory levels. Prepare regular reports for management review.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of working in an office environment
• Production Scheduling experience performed
• ERP, MRP experience preferred
• Production scheduling experience is preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This is an office position that may require sporadic visits to the production floor to communicate with team members on an as needed basis.
• Onsite Position in Statesville, NC
