Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering seeks a meticulous Job Planner to maintain cost records and ensure accurate job costing. You will manage purchase orders, invoices, and filing of job folders, while recording data at kick-off meetings and distributing blueprints and travelers.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and policy practices. Expect to enter orders, carry over to ongoing jobs, and apply Six Sigma quality tools to improve and control processes.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Job Planner keeps and maintains all records for accurate job costing and tracking for ADDMAN.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains purchase orders and job-costing records
• Invoices customers, maintains filing of job folders
• Attends kick-off meetings and records job data
• Copies and distributes blue prints and job travelers.
• Enter orders and carryover to jobs
• Utilize six-sigma quality tools, when appropriate, to define, measure, analyze, improve and control processes and outcomes.
• Responsible to maintain & support processes, procedures & K.P.I.’s owned by your position.
• Review of all procedures related to your job per “HR LG 01 Training Matrix”
• Completion within time stated of all training required by Job Description in “HR LG 01 Training Matrix”
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.
• For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sit or stand as needed.
• Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
• Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
• Proper lifting techniques required.
• Ability and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol.
• Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
