Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Production Scheduler in Houston, TX to support critical project delivery and optimize production schedules. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure operational success.

You will provide admin support to the production department, maintain master schedule documentation, monitor timelines, and prepare daily/weekly/monthly management reports. This is an on-site role with standard benefits during the contract.

Qualifications

• Experience with Primavera P6 (Required).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Required).
• Strong organizational and interdepartmental communication skills.

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Production Scheduler in Houston, TX. In this dynamic and high-impact role, you will be responsible for supporting critical project delivery, collaborating with specialized engineering teams, and optimizing production schedules to ensure operational success.

In our Production Scheduler job you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing administrative support to the production department and a small team of production schedulers
• Assisting with maintaining documentation for master schedules
• Assisting with monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management
• Serving as a liaison across various engineering groups and departments

What you’ll need:

• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (Required)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office Excel (Required)
• Strong organizational, reporting, and interdepartmental communication skills

Details:

• Competitive pay rate starting at $40/hr (depending on experience)
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: South Houston, near the Hobby Airport area
• Standard benefit options available through Openwork during your contract assignment
