Job summary

Stiles-Machinery-Inc, based in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Production Scheduler to act as a bridge between the sales team and the production facility. You will coordinate material, labor, and equipment availability to keep schedules on track.

The role requires 2–4 years in manufacturing, a HS or Associate degree, proficiency with MS Office; SAP is a plus. Strong communication and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably a component or machine assembly environment, as a production scheduler.
  • High School or Associate Degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP is a plus.
  • Process and detail orientated.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a connection between the sales team and the production facility.
  • Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor and equipment availability.
  • Forecasting the number of machines to be released and adjusting schedules accordingly.
  • Communicating with production personnel and logistics to assure timely machine releases.
  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management.
  • Promptly informing relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Essential Functions:
  • Act as a connection between the sales team and the production facility

  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met by forecasting the number of machines to be released
  • Communication with production personnel and logistics to make sure machines are released from production when due
  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner
  • Promptly information the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules
  • Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
