Job summary

ABB in Florence, SC is seeking a Production Scheduler to generate a detailed production schedule aligned with the production plan. You will feed capacity and material information daily and release manufacturing work orders to keep production on track.

Responsibilities include running daily MRP, setting operation lead times, and monitoring schedule adherence. Strong collaboration, problem-solving under pressure, and SAP/ERP familiarity are essential for success.

This position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
• Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.
• Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan.
• Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.
