Job summary

IKI Manufacturing is seeking a Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team in Edgerton, WI. The role coordinates between production, procurement, sales, and logistics to develop and maintain production schedules that ensure on-time delivery and maximize plant performance.

The Master Scheduler will analyze orders, forecasts, and capacity to create detailed schedules, lead planning meetings, monitor material availability, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in production planning and scheduling within manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and adjust the master production schedule to meet delivery requirements and optimize plant capacity.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, engineering, and sales to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Analyze demand forecasts, sales orders, and inventory levels to determine production needs.
• Identify capacity constraints and recommend solutions to maintain continuous workflow.
• Maintain scheduling data in the ERP system and generate performance reports.
• Lead production planning meetings and communicate schedule changes to departments.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling processes and increase plant efficiency.

Job Description:

This role serves as the central point of coordination between production, procurement, sales, and logistics to balance demand and supply effectively. The Master Scheduler will analyze customer orders, forecast requirements, and production capacity to create and manage detailed schedules that support business objectives and maximize operational performance.

• Collaborate with procurement, production, engineering, and sales teams to gather input and resolve scheduling conflicts.
