Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing in the Denton, NC area seeks a Production Scheduler for a contract-to-hire role. The person will develop a production schedule in the ERP system and coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to optimize capacity and inventory.

1st shift is 7a-4p, M-F, with $17-$20/hr DOE. Responsibilities include maintaining the master scheduling process, aligning with demand forecasts, and providing scheduling reports to support decisions and inventory planning.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP and MRP systems, preferably Epicor/Kinetic.
• Understanding of manufacturing process flow and ERP integration.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills; English required; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production scheduling in the ERP.
• Maintain daily/weekly/forward planning data.
• Review scheduling with demand forecast alignment.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure material availability.
• Communicate scheduling status across operations.
• Develop scheduling reports and forecast impact on inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Furniture Manufacturer firm in the Denton, NC area, is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team! Temp to Hire position.

Production Scheduler Job Summary:

• Pay:$17-$20/hr DOE
• Shift Available:
  • 1st Shift: 7a-4p M-F

The Production Scheduler develops a schedule of production in the MRP system in coordination with Customer Service Team and the Operations Manager. This individual will also be responsible for reviewing capacity, call out constraints and provide recommendations on how to address the constraints to the Operations Manager.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain master production scheduling process within the ERP system.
• Maintain daily, weekly and forward planning master scheduling data.
• Review and align all scheduling activities based upon the demand planning forecast.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure the proper material is available to support target schedule.
• Drive scheduling communication to all support functions to ensure alignment across all areas of the operation.
• Develop and maintain scheduling reports and how those relate to future inventory levels.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience utilizing ERP & MRP systems (Experience with Epicor/Kinetic is preferred).
• Keen understanding of manufacturing process flow and the correlation with ERP systems.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and achieve the desired results.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization; possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Proficiency in English is required (Bilingual English & Spanish a plus).
