Job summary

GRAMMER is seeking a Master Production Scheduler for our Delphos, OH location. The role plans and schedules production based on customer releases, acts as liaison between customer and plant, and ensures timely shipment of finished products.

You will maintain inventory levels, coordinate with Customer Service, guide material planning, monitor schedule performance, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949. Associate degree or equivalent and 2+ years scheduling experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of production scheduling experience.
• Experience with MRP and scheduling systems (SAP).
• Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems and coordinate corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production output to meet deadlines.
• Plan manpower for each job using standard methods.
• Maintain inventory levels to align with the production schedule.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to prioritize orders.
• Guide material planning for on-hand inventory.
• Monitor inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
• Coordinate forecasts with Production Manager.
• Track schedule performance vs. production actuals.
• Distribute customer releases weekly and monthly.
• Support year-end inventory planning and counts.
• Prepare customer requirement reports.
• Promote IATF 16949 compliance.

What we are looking for:

Grammer is looking for a Master Production Scheduler to join our location in Delphos, OH. The Master Production Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to plan and schedule production based on customer requirements, which are provided to us by way of customer releases or shipment, to act as liaison between the customer and the plant, to relay requirements, and ship finished product in an efficient and timely manner.

What you will be doing:

• Scheduling – production output
• Manpower – schedules each job with standard manpower by way of press/assembly
• Maintain inventory levels in order to meet production schedule
• Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to prioritize and fulfill customer needs
• Guides material planning for on hand component inventory to build production to customer needs
• Monitor inventory adjustments and cycle counts
• Coordinate forecasts with Production Manager
• Track schedule performance vs. production actuals
• Monitor customer computer systems for daily changes
• Prepares and distributes customer releases
• Participates and guides year-end inventory planning and counts
• Customer requirement reports with weekly and monthly information
• Production Performance
• Promotes IATF 16949 compliance

What you will bring along:

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum 2 years Production Scheduling Experience
• Experience with MRP and scheduling systems (SAP)
• Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems, develop alternative corrective actions and engage appropriate colleagues in the timely implementation of corrective actions
