Job summary

Legacy Bakehouse in Waukesha, WI is hiring a Production Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean food production environment. You will clean equipment, inspect conveyors, and ensure readiness for the next shift, while following GMPs and safety rules.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8+ hours. Training is provided for sanitation and production tasks in a family-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Read/write English to follow cleaning protocols and logs.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and accuracy.
• Commitment to safety and GMP requirements.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for long periods.
• Basic math skills for counting and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Clean conveyors, feeders, shaker tables, and seasoners per cleaning matrix.
• Perform forklift inspections at shift start.
• Verify equipment cleanliness via swab testing and QA checks.
• Record cleaning data and logs accurately.
• Help maintain equipment by basic inspections and reporting needs.
• Maintain the compactor and recycling area.
• Weigh and record waste at end of shift.
• Follow GMPs, food safety, and personnel safety rules.
• Report unsafe or food safety issues immediately.
• Support additional sanitation or production tasks as assigned.
