Job summary

Legacy Bakehouse is hiring a Production Cleaner for the 3rd shift at our Waukesha, WI and Cudahy, WI facilities. You will clean production equipment, follow GMPs, and ensure readiness for the next shift to keep safety and quality high.

Responsibilities include cleaning conveyors and equipment, performing inspections, recording data, and supporting sanitation or production tasks as needed. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and focused on food safety.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8+ hours.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.

Overview

Cleaner (3rd shift) — Location: Waukesha, WI and Cudahy, WI

The Role

As a Production Cleaner, you\'ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient food production environment. You\'ll clean and inspect production equipment, follow food safety standards, and make sure everything is ready for the next shift.

What You\'ll Do

• Clean conveyors, feeders, shaker tables, and seasoners following the cleaning matrix.
• Perform forklift inspections at the start of shift.
• Verify equipment cleanliness through swab testing and QA inspections.
• Record cleaning data and logs accurately.
• Help maintain equipment by performing basic inspections and reporting repair needs.
• Maintain the compactor and recycling area.
• Weigh and record waste at the end of shift.
• Follow GMPs, food safety, and personnel safety rules.
• Report any unsafe or food safety issues immediately.
• Support additional sanitation or production tasks as assigned.

What We\'re Looking for

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to food safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages).
• Comfortable working in warm environments.
• Experience in sanitation or food manufacturing is helpful but not required - we\'ll train the right person.
