Job summary

Universal Nutrition is seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to clean and sanitize production floors, equipment, and facility structures in accordance with the Facility Sanitation Schedule. You will also operate machinery and assist with packaging and product inspection as needed.

You will collaborate with production and quality teams, follow safety policies, and maintain logs of chemicals used and cleaning activities. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and team collaboration.
• Ability to safely handle and apply industrial cleaning chemicals per SOPs.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production floors, walls, drains, facility structures.
• Conduct visual inspections before and after cleaning.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate cleaning equipment.
• Log sanitation activities and chemicals used.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products and assist in packaging as needed.
