Job summary

Universal Nutrition is seeking a Sanitation Associate to clean and sanitize production floors, equipment, walls, and facility areas according to the Facility Sanitation Schedule.

You will operate cleaning machinery, handle chemicals safely, complete sanitation logs, and collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work a day shift with overtime as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production floors, walls, drains, facility structures, rooms and exteriors following the Facility Sanitation Schedule.
• Conduct visual inspections before and after cleaning.
• Safely handle chemicals and operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, pressure washers).
• Maintain sanitation logs and records documenting chemicals used and completion time.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and ensure cleanliness.
