Job summary

Bel is seeking a Sanitation Agent to ensure all equipment and parts are cleaned and sanitized for the next production shift. The role also covers daily pre-operational swabbing for microbiology and maintaining sanitation procedures across the facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning various equipment, floors, walls, and conveyors, following GMPs, and assisting with wax handling and packaging line sanitation.

Qualifications

• Requires equivalent of a High School Diploma.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions relating to the operation.
• Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as simple hand tools and hand-powered hydraulic material handling devices.

Responsibilities

• Remove molder tubes to clean out cheese, replace tubes for CIP and pull tubes back out after CIP.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, presses, delidder machine and belts as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, stools, bowls and pans; clean de-molding machine, tumblers, table, conveyors and floors in the brining room.
• Disassemble, clean and sanitize wax machine and reassemble for production.
• Drain and clean out tray separator and fill it back up.
• Clean and stock air locks rooms.
• Assist with melting wax.
• Operate floor scrubber.
• Help change out lids and cups.
• Clean netting machine belts, conveyors, lines, and turn tables.
• Follow all GMPs and safety rules.
