Job summary

Bel Brands is seeking a Sanitation Agent to ensure all equipment and parts are cleaned and sanitized for the next production shift at our Brookings, SD facility. This role monitors pre-operational swabbing for microbiology and adheres to GMP and safety policies.

The position requires routine cleaning of lines, machines, floors, and equipment, with emphasis on food safety and environmental protocols. Strong teamwork and ability to follow detailed instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires equivalent of a High School Diploma.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions relating to the operation.
• Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as simple hand tools and hand-powered hydraulic material handling devices.

Responsibilities

• Remove Molder tubes to clean out cheese, replace tubes for CIP and pull tubes back out after CIP and soak.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, presses, delidder machine and belts as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, stools, bowls and pans.
• Disassemble, clean and sanitize wax machine and reassemble for production.
• Drain and clean out tray separator and fill it back up.
• Clean and stock air locks rooms.
• Clean foot foamers and check concentrations.
• Assist with melting wax
• Operate floor scrubber
• Help change out lids and cups.
