Job summary

Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, is the industry leader in the commissary market. You will maintain the production rooms, equipment, warehouse and building grounds.

You will work onsite and report to the Director of Packaging. The role emphasizes reliability, GMP compliance, and safety, with weekly pay, DailyPay, and generous benefits. A forklift may be required after certification.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Lift/pull/carry loads up to 70 pounds.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Forklift experience preferred but not necessary.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to work: Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 4:30 pm and Friday 5am to 1:30 PM

Responsibilities

• You will maintain the production rooms, equipment, warehouse and building grounds.
• You will work onsite. You will report to the Director of Packaging.
• We require reliable attendance; you must follow your assigned work schedule.
• Maximize Quality Production with limited down time and waste.
• Know and follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Company Policies.
• Recognize and correct food safety and quality issues.
• Report any unsafe condition or property damage to supervisor immediately.
• Mix cleaning chemicals to predetermined ratios.
• Use test kits to check effectiveness of cleaning.
• Sanitize production equipment per cleaning instructions.
• Operate a floor scrubber.
• Safely operate a forklift after passing certification.
• Perform inspections on scrubber, scissor-lift and forklift; report problems to Supervisor.
• Clean plant, warehouse, production rooms, and grounds per cleaning schedule.
• Maintain disposable inventories and report needs to Supervisor.
• Perform routine, preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Seek additional instruction upon completion of tasks.
• Weigh, document and dispose of dust collection waste.
• Help with changeovers.
• Help unload inbound stock, complete corresponding documentation.
• Help with setup/cleanup of company events.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
