Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a Production Sanitation team member for our second shift in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness across manufacturing areas and ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and food safety standards.

Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with some weekends; pay ranges from $15.00 to $15.38 per hour. Responsibilities include waste disposal, basic documentation, allergen controls, and reporting any concerns to management.

The pay rate for this position is $15.00 to $15.38 per hour.

This is a second-shift role, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM. With some weekends.

Job Summary

The Production Sanitation position involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of manufacturing and processing areas during production schedules. This includes proper disposal of trash, and cardboard materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation tasks efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and honestly.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Food Safety policies.
• Adhere to allergen control programs and procedures.
• Report any suspicious packages, activities, or individuals to management.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for extended periods, use hands to handle objects, and reach with arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to walk, communicate, and hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision.

Work Environment

Work may involve exposure to wet or humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, fumes, airborne particles, and occasional contact with chemicals classified as toxic or caustic. The noise level is generally moderate.
