Job summary

Eillien’s Candies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated sanitation team member to maintain cleanliness on the inside floors of our main plant.

You will perform general cleaning, operate floor scrubbers, and sanitize production areas while following established safety and food handling guidelines. You will also operate powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to move pallets, assist in packing on machine lines when needed, and help ensure the facility meets safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or desired.
• Previous sanitation experience in a production environment is helpful but not required.
• Experience operating powered equipment is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and follow cleaning guidelines and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and sanitize warehouse space using floor scrubber.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and manual pallet jack to move pallets.
• Assist with packing or dumping on machine lines when needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and complete required paperwork.
• Take out garbage and support production as needed.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to keep the inside floors clean. Sanitation crew members are responsible for following general cleaning guidelines which are maintained by a cleaning checklist. The primary cleaning duties will include cleaning floors, helping sanitize warehouse space, taking out garbage and other cleaning duties as needed in our main plant. This position will be required to operate a forklift to move pallets.
