Job summary

Do Good Factory LLC in Portland is seeking an experienced production specialist for a part-time contract role. You will work hands-on, building tech packs, reviewing samples, and coordinating with our Mexico factory to keep timelines tight.

This onsite and hybrid position requires garment production knowledge, strong organization, and the ability to chase down details. You’ll help run client fit sessions, manage blanks, and support quick-turn requests while staying connected to Portland’s

Qualifications

  • Experience building tech packs and working with factories.
  • Retail experience with GS1US and UPC codes.
  • Strong understanding of fit, measurements, fabrics, printing, embroidery, and sampling.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail; clear communication.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and spreadsheets.

Job description

Portland-based is required.

Please do not apply if you do not currently live in Portland. This is an onsite and hybrid role, and relocation is not included.

Do Good Factory is a Portland-based creative manufacturing agency making apparel, bags, and accessories for clients including Anthropic, Portland Fire, Portland Thorns, and many more.

We’re looking for an experienced production person to join us on a part-time contract basis, with room to grow.

This is hands‑on production work. You should already know how a garment gets made and be comfortable working directly with factories.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Building and managing tech packs
  • Reviewing samples and tracking revisions
  • Working directly with our Mexico factory
  • Managing sample timelines and approvals
  • Running client fit sessions
  • Handling occasional merch and quick‑turn requests
  • Maintaining our blanks library
You should have:
  • Retail experience with GS1US, and UPC codes etc.
  • Experience building tech packs and working with factories
  • Strong understanding of fit, measurements, fabrics, printing, embroidery, and sampling
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and spreadsheets
  • The ability to communicate clearly, chase things down, and keep production moving
Bonus:

Spanish, licensed sports product experience, responsible materials, or experience with bags, headwear, and accessories.
