Job summary

Webull in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Production Engineer to be the bridge between global operations and engineering, ensuring the 24/7 trading platform remains highly available and resilient. You’ll own incident response, monitor OMS and mission‑critical apps, and drive RCA for complex outages.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in IT production support, SRE, or systems engineering within high-availability environments.
• Hands-on experience managing MySQL/NoSQL databases and middleware technologies such as Kafka and Redis.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript) with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to maintain peak performance and clear-headed decision-making under high-pressure, mission-critical scenarios.
• Willingness to work irregular hours to support a global market that never sleeps.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system resilience by monitoring OMS and critical apps 24/7 to maintain 99.99% stability.
• Act as liaison between Back-Office and Development; manage L1/L2 incidents; RCA for L3 escalations.
• Incident management & orchestration with Client Services; track and resolve client-facing incidents.
• Optimize daily technical operations; provide expert support for databases and middleware.
• Design and build automation scripts, frameworks, or AI agents to reduce repetitive tasks.
• Support global trading across time zones; adapt to irregular shifts as needed.
