Job summary

Etched is seeking an L10 System Validation Engineer to define production readiness for the accelerator platform. You will build the Cluster Scale Memory subsystem and create infrastructure to prove it, driving critical issues from detection to verified fixes.

You will own the system debug guide, manage escalations, and lead bring-up across cards, interconnects, power, and thermal domains. Strong ownership and deep hardware/software skills are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in system validation, platform bring-up, or related field with solo ownership of L10 integration.
• Hands-on signal integrity and power integrity debugging: SerDes, PCIe Gen5/6, Ethernet, HBM.
• Proven ability to build coverage models and quantify platform readiness.
• Strong Linux and Python/Bash scripting to instrument, automate, and extract data.

Responsibilities

• Author and own the L10 system debug guide for failure analysis.
• Own end-to-end escalation, debug, and resolution of L10 hardware failures.
• Develop bring-up and integration across accelerator cards, interconnects, power, and thermal.
• Lead system-level debug across hardware, firmware, and software together.
• Partner with contract manufacturers to validate incomplete systems and gate ramp.
• Build instrumentation, automation scripts, and debug workflows.
• Run sustained workloads with real model variants under thermal and power stress.
• Drive issue closure across HW, FW, SW, thermal, power, and manufacturing.
• Represent validation readiness to leadership with data-backed assessments.
