Job summary

Bobyard in the San Francisco Bay Area is offering a CV/ML Engineering Intern position focused on building computer vision models for construction drawings. You will work on real production problems with the ML team, own a scoped piece of work end-to-end, and receive hands-on mentorship from experienced engineers.

You will contribute to data preparation, labeling workflows, training runs, and evaluation while exploring research ideas to improve models and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in deep learning and computer vision through coursework, research, or projects.
• Hands-on experience training models in PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Strong Python skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve CV models for detection, segmentation, or OCR on construction drawings with mentor guidance.
• Contribute to data pipelines: preparation, labeling workflows, training runs, and evaluation.
• Run experiments, measure results, and clearly communicate findings.
