Job summary

Figure AI is a robotics company based in San Jose, California, building general-purpose humanoid robots powered by its own AI models. The Production Quality Technician will actively work on the manufacturing line and ensure processes meet design specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years of Manufacturing Quality Control experience, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies (8D, 5-Why, fishbone/Ishikawa).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Able to use basic measurement tools such as pin gauges, bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CATIA/CAD proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audit for manufacturing processes.
• Perform in-process quality inspections per Quality Instructions.
• Take the lead on initiating containment activities for production quality issues.
• Study the manufacturing processes and identify potential quality risks.
• Participate in Material Review Board activities.
