Job summary

Newvisionmfg is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Madill, OK operations. The role ensures product and process quality, reviews drawings, and coordinates with production to resolve issues on a rotating inspection schedule.

The incumbent will maintain QA databases, prepare reports, and support ECRs and DAPIA updates. Strong attention to detail and cross-team communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural / engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proactive approach to quality.
• Working knowledge of facility machines, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to track and report on quality issues.
• Ability to communicate with all levels within the facility.
• Solid understanding of construction trades and quality practices, codes, regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identifying service issues within the facility.
• Analyzing root causes of service issues.
• Recommending improvements / corrections to mitigate future service issues.
• Maintain current master copy of all documents including supplier data and audits.
• Distribute materials with explanation of changes / additions.
• Maintain on-line DAPIA and initiate ECRs for changes.
• Follow up with paperwork distributions to ensure changes are implemented.
• Perform a systematic line inspection in a 15-day rotation of items.
• Follow up inspections of yard work and re-testing.
• Ensure QA Admin database is updated and monitor for repetitive issues.
• Escort IPIA during inspections and complete HUD reports as needed.
• Provide QA and DAPIA training with team members.
• Maintain QA information boards and training certifications.
• Report quality findings and keep management informed.
• Assist with maintaining QA documentation and problem area tracking.
• Other duties as assigned.
