Epiroc is seeking a Production Quality Coordinator to identify, correct, and prevent quality defects on the Garland production floor. You will support internal and external defect detection, daily quality improvements, and ensure conformance to customer requirements.

Responsibilities include inspections, audits, and participation in design reviews and corrective actions. This role emphasizes training staff and applying digital tools to reduce scrap and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Over 2 years of related manufacturing experience (Assembler/Welder/Tester preferred).
  • Must read, write and comprehend English; knowledge of quality management and audit processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, correct, and prevent quality defects within safety guidelines.
  • Verify product conformances by visual inspection and measurements.
  • Participate in design reviews, FMEA, product improvement teams, or internal audits.
  • Follow Quality Procedure Manual and Work Instructions.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality to prevent non-conforming material.
  • Train manufacturing personnel in assembly and/or weld processes.

  • The objective of this position is to Identify, correct, and prevent quality defects within company safety guidelines.
  • This role would be responsible for helping improve quality control efficiencies throughinnovative thinking, automated data collection, and proactive problem-solving.
  • This role would include knowledge or desire to seek knowledge on digital tools to enhance product quality, reduce scrap, andfoster a culture of continuous digital improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for internal and external defect detection, identification, classification, and prevention
  • Verify product conformances based on visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and performance measurement (such as in process audits, Blue Tag, and Green Tag Audit including recording GiG system)
  • Perform all duties related to Quality, including: participation in design reviews, FMEA’s, product improvement teams, internal audit teams, or other efforts used to prevent non-conformance or to develop corrective action.
  • Function within the guidelines of the latest issue of the Quality Procedure Manual and Work Instructions. Requirements include documentation and recommendation
  • Interaction with Supplier Quality group and receiving inspection areas to identify and prevent recurrence of non-conforming material as necessary
  • Must understand product requirements (based on customer sales orders), product specifications, and applicable reference standards. Evaluate product requirements and recommend changes when applicable
  • Understand reject process
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts
  • Knowledge of the non-conforming parts holding area.
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines
  • Perform other duties as required or directed
  • Train manufacturing personnel in assembly and/or weld process

Knowledge/Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED required

The training period for this position:

  • 12 months for total proficiency in tasks.

Prior Positions/Training:

  • 24 months of experience as an Assembler, Welder (as required), and Tester (preferred)
  • Required to read, write and comprehend English
  • Manufacturing process, reject process, rig or product knowledge and audit process, root cause analysis, Quality Management System, and internal audit process.
