We seek a detail‑oriented Production & Purchasing Associate to support planning, purchasing and production of millwork, interior doors, and molding products, ensuring materials, inventory and vendor relationships are well managed. Responsibilities include procuring raw materials, tracking inventory, issuing POs, coordinating with vendors on pricing and lead times,

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of purchasing, inventory, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of doors, millwork products, and related building materials.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing, planning, and production of custom millwork, interior doors, and molding products.
• Procure raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production schedules and inventory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory and production reports.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead times, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Issue and track purchase orders to ensure materials are received on time and production remains on schedule.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to support efficient workflow, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong vendor relationships while identifying cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
• Experience with millwork manufacturing, interior door production, molding operations, or related building materials is a plus.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Production/Purchasing Associate to support the planning, purchasing, and production of millwork, interior doors, and molding products, ensuring materials, inventory, and vendor relationships are effectively managed.

For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $27.00 - $35.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
