Job summary

Singer Group in Carson, CA is seeking a Production Processing Assistant to support the life cycle of automotive parts. The role focuses on preparing parts, coordinating outside processing, and ensuring smooth donor part flow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in automotive parts, strong communication, and basic MS Office skills. Onsite schedule Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

• You will come to understand the life cycle of parts from donor stage to a finished good and will assist with overall part flow from suppliers and internal resources by preparing work orders and managing production lots.
• Your goal is to ensure smooth and efficient production operations for the downstream value chain in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”

What You’ll Do:

• Disassemble, clean, and assemble parts to prepare for outside processing.
• Coordinate and assist outside processing part movement and staging under direction from the Lead.
• Work closely with disassembly vendor to ensure timely flow of donor parts.
• Create and update work instructions related to preparing parts for outside processing.
• Analyzeand test parts for quality conformity according to the Engineering Department’'s SOP.
• Manage inventory levels within MRP and transactions for inventory moves.

Who We’re Looking For:

• The desired candidate is an effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask, follow work instructions, and be adaptable.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of related work experience with automotive parts and/or working in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Bonus points if you have technical training in the automotive industry and/or familiarity with Porsche vehicles (early models)

Location & Schedule:

This position is onsite in Carson, CA and the schedule is Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30 pm with overtime as needed.
