Job summary

Gentex Corporation in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Production Process Technician on 2nd shift to help maintain high machine uptime and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance of product manufacturing equipment and controls.
• Eliminate equipment downtime by tracking problems to their root cause and correcting them.
• Maintain records of downtime events with appropriate detail.
• Make process modifications as needed.
• Support engineering staff in the development of new processes for manufacturing.
• Provide input as needed when equipment is purchased or upgraded.
• Construct mechanical assemblies and complete equipment upgrades as needed.
• Work with other internal groups and/or outside vendors to troubleshoot existing equipment as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new products.
• Other duties as assigned.
