Job summary

Excellus BCBS in Rochester, NY is seeking a Production Print Specialist to support multiple areas of Production Operations. The role may require day, evening or overnight shifts, including weekends, with 3 days' notice for shift changes.

You will operate production printers, perform basic bindery tasks, monitor quality, and ensure safety and privacy standards. Level I and II responsibilities expand to advanced equipment and software, with opportunities for growth within the department.

Qualifications

High school diploma, vocational education, or GED required.
Background in printing is helpful.
Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
Some shifts may require Valid Class D driver’s license and clean driving record.
Three or more years of experience in a production environment (Level II).

Responsibilities

Operate production printers and finishing equipment and maintain the production print equipment per manufacturer specifications.
Review job requests and print on a timely basis; monitor quality and completeness of jobs.
Perform basic bindery functions such as folding, cutting, padding, punching, stitching, laminating.
Monitor inventory of print-related supplies and assist with maintenance logs.
Provide advanced equipment setup and troubleshooting for Level II tasks.
Assist other departments when a machine is inoperable as needed.
