• Analyze lead-time and lot size; balance load on work centers.
• Escalate material short issues to Supply Chain as needed.
• Conduct consumption and forecast analysis; manage KPI calculations.

This role coordinates the introduction of new products into the factory and schedules production orders to achieve optimal levels of customer service, inventory efficiency, and asset utilization. The Production Planner also provides consumption and forecast analysis for their assigned area and uses this data to optimize inventory levels and key delivery performance metrics.**Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:*** Analyze MRP reports and take appropriate action. Create and release production orders on a daily basis to achieve the production plan and customers requested delivery date.
