Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. You will plan material levels, schedule production orders, and create purchase requisitions to meet customer delivery dates.

Collaborating with engineering and shop floor teams, you will optimize inventory, analyze KPI data, and ensure SAP-driven accuracy. Minimal travel and long-term growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with one year of work experience required; if no degree, 10 years of relevant work experience required.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• SAP experience required.
• Manufacturing work experience required.
• Analytical skills
• Microsoft Office advanced skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MRP reports and take appropriate action.
• Create and release production orders on a daily basis to meet the production plan and delivery dates.
• Create purchase requisitions daily to meet the production plan and delivery dates.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on upcoming work and material availability issues.
• Schedule and re-schedule production orders to mitigate changes.
• Plan new product materials and schedules.
• Perform SAP functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adjust safety stock as required.
• Analyze lead-time and lot sizes for products.
• Level-load work centers and communicate load conditions to shop floor.
