Job summary

Daikin Applied in Staunton, VA is seeking a Production Planning Scheduler I to support production and inventory control, review sales orders, and coordinate with vendors for on-time delivery. Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions.
• Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders.
• Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates.
• Maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories.
• Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed.
• Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, and contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials.
• Provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders.
• Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $19.38 to $30.85 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
