Yunker Industries, Inc. seeks a Production Planning Manager / Estimator to oversee scheduling and workflow coordination for large format digital print and fixture assembly jobs. This role also supports estimating with cost projections for print and assembly projects.

Responsibilities include developing production schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams, analyzing capacity, and maintaining estimation tools to ensure timely delivery and accurate cost forecasts.

Formación

• Proven experience in production planning and/or estimating within the large format digital print industry.
• Strong understanding of large format printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in production/estimating software (Pace/Printflow preferred).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with multiple departments.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Customer-focused mindset.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning Manager / Estimator to oversee the scheduling, workflow coordination of large format digital print and customer fixture assembly jobs. This dual role will also support the estimating department in preparing cost estimates for both print and assembly jobs. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, accurate cost forecasting, and timely delivery of high-quality printed products.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on job orders and client deadlines. Leads daily Production Meeting
• Coordinate with sales, design, print, finishing, and installation teams to ensure optimal workflow and resource allocation.
• Monitor production capacity and adjust plans as necessary to meet fluctuating demand or changes in job priorities working with operations to facilitate appropriate staffing needs throughout print, finishing, assembly and pack.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays in production in real-time.
• Develop and maintain departmental best practices, appropriate KPI’s and metrics.

Estimating:

• Develop accurate and timely cost estimates for transactional work, repeat orders, and RFP opportunities by analyzing specifications, artwork, production requirements, and customer needs.
• Prepare pricing summaries and supporting documentation, including cost breakdowns and comparisons, to support proposal development and internal decision-making.

• Review drawings/specifications and collaborate with our design and production teams
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy, completeness, and cost competitiveness.
• Monitor and meet established turnaround time expectations and departmental KPIs while providing clear status updates as needed.

• Maintain and update pricing databases and estimation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in production planning and/or estimating within the large format digital print industry.
• Strong understanding of large format printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in production/estimating software (Pace/Printflow preferred).
• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with multiple departments.
• Strong organization skills, attention to details and able to effectively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
