Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Production Planning Intern in Rochester, NY. The role supports planning, scheduling, and monitoring production from engineering plans to ensure timely materials and delivery commitments.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams, advise management on work‑in‑progress status, and help resolve shortages and schedule interruptions while supporting the production cycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed bachelor’s or master’s in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Utilize MRP to input master schedule, track material availability, and release shop orders.
• Update make-item lead times within the MRP system and maintain records.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality to execute build schedules and resolve issues.
• Provide hardware status and performance data to the program team based on MES data.
