Global Power Components is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Assistant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Production Planning team, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation is available to multiple departments. Responsibilities include creating production paperwork, processing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and coordinating documentation distribution across facilities. Candidates should have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with preferred experience in administrative roles and familiarity with ERP systems.
Qualifications
Experience in an administrative or manufacturing support role.
Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings (or willingness to learn quickly).
Familiarity with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) preferred.
Experience handling production documentation / engineering drawings preferred.
Responsibilities
Create and compile production paperwork packets for multiple departments.
Distribute production packets to multiple facilities and coordinate delivery.
Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Prioritize workload based on production schedules and deadlines.
Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and efficiency.
