Value Windows & Doors, Inc. , a leading Windows & Doors manufacturer in the Southern California area is currently hiring for aProduction Planning Assistantin Duarte, CA.

The Production Planning Assistant assists the Planning Supervisor or the Production Manager with production planning operations. This role is responsible for translating sales orders into manufacturing plans, optimizing production schedules, and ensuring efficient use of resources and materials.Demonstrates strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Reporting Relationship:Reports to the Planning Supervisor or Production Manager.

• Converts sales orders into manufacturing orders using the Cantor system, based on material inventory and plant capacity.
• Assists in developing and implementing production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collects, organizes, and analyzes sales data to support proactive capacity planning adjustments.
• Analyzes production data to optimize scheduling efficiency and resource allocation.
• Monitors raw material inventory and production progress, promptly reporting any issues.
• Utilizes ERP systems for order entry, progress tracking, and report generation.
• Collaborates with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
• Other duties and special projects as need arises.

Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or production planning is preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data analysis tools is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite or Cantor, is a strong advantage.

Training & Education:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Associate degree or higher, preferably in Statistics, Data Analysis, Supply Chain Management, or related fields required.
• Formal Training in ERP and MRP Systems a plus (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc).
