Job Description

The Production Planning Team (PPT) at Amazon is seeking leaders to shape the future of labor planning for our North America Customer Fulfillment Network (NACF). This role involves pioneering automated solutions, including advanced modeling and machine learning, to enhance labor planning accuracy and efficiency. As a key member of this high-visibility team, you will work closely with regional leadership and leverage cross-functional teams to implement innovative models and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FC and regional leadership to develop and implement centralized labor planning models for NACF.
• Deliver strategic action plans and serve as a trusted partner to network leaders.
• Coordinate with central teams like S&OP, Central Flow, and Process Engineering to drive process improvements.
• Utilize data analysis and a bias for action to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) and data visualization tools like Tableau.
• 3+ years in business or financial analysis.
• Proven ability to define requirements and derive insights from data.
• Experience with SQL and making data-driven business recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of analysis and stakeholder influence experience, preferably in logistics or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, QuickSight, or Excel VBA.
