Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Production Planning teammate for the F-16 production line. You will write and maintain work instructions, control configuration management, and implement engineering changes to support manufacturing.

You will plan manufacturing processes across fabrication, assembly, and installation, process change requests, and produce clear instructions for unscheduled tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience combined in manufacturing, engineering, aviation/aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modification.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • 3+ year experience combined in manufacturing, engineering, aviation/aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modification (desired)
  • Engineering degree / experience preferred (described as preferred)
  • Experience writing manufacturing work instructions or technical documents (desired)
  • Experience with MBOM or configuration management (desired)
  • Experience with CAPP, SFM, SAP, APRISO (desired)
  • Greenbelt / Lean familiarity (desired)

Standard Job Description

You will be a member of the Greenville Production Planning organization in support of the F-16 production line. The Production Planning department is responsible for writing and maintaining work instructions, controlling configuration management, and incorporating engineering changes for F-16 production.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Maintains the planning of various manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, and installation relating to a specific build area.
  • Incorporates work instruction change requests into master planning.
  • Creates work instructions for unscheduled production tasks (DRs, GPRs).
  • Provides customer support and works closely with cross-functional groups.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience combined in the following:
    • Manufacturing
    • Engineering
    • Aviation / aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modification
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Skills
  • 3+ year experience combined in the following:
    • Manufacturing
    • Engineering
    • Aviation / aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modification
  • F-16 Experience preferred
  • Engineering degree / experience preferred
  • Experience interfacing with customer
  • Experience performing cross-functional work
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with competing priorities

  • Experience with manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM) or configuration management
  • Experience with the following software: CAPP, SFM, SAP, APRISO
  • Greenbelt certified or familiar with continuous improvement frameworks (A3, 6S, Lean)
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $48200.00 – $89400.00
