Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control, loading, and shipping procedures.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Order management: receive orders, set delivery dates based on material availability and production schedules.
• Production planning: establish plans and daily schedules for hourly staff to optimize efficiency.
• Shipping and logistics: select carriers, coordinate shipments, plan routes, and expedite deliveries as needed.
• Inventory management: order raw materials, maintain inventory levels, prepare bill of materials from prints/drawings.
• Coordinate interplant transfers and keep sales/plant informed about material availability and schedules.
• Prepare material and product certificates, coordinate inspections and material sampling.
