Job summary

Sanmina Corporation, a leading EMS provider, is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler for our Medical Device operations in Carrollton, Texas. You will coordinate and develop daily or weekly production schedules, manage inventory levels, and ensure materials and components arrive on time to meet customer delivery requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least 5 years of related experience, strong MRP knowledge, and familiarity with FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related experience in manufacturing or EMS.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and processes.
• Strong background in MRP.
• Understanding of master scheduling and forecasting processes.
• Familiarity with FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO 13485.
• Experience with electronic multi level builds preferred.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office / Google Suite.
• Ability to create and understand reports for production decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor products through the complete production cycle based on customer orders and delivery requirements.
• Work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
• Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Make or recommend revisions to planned production schedules as necessary when schedules cannot be met.
• Reschedule rework, unfinished parts, and assemblies, new production releases, and special orders.
• Establish effective communication with various departments as necessary to meet production requirements.

Our Carrollton facility is looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler for our Medical Device manufacturing operations. Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals. Take stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing necessary materials and components.

• Strong computer skills with MS Office / Google suite experience
• Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.
• A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.
