Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. in Hopkinton, MA is seeking a Production Planner to manage the manufacturing schedule for reagents, chemicals and consumables in a fast-paced environment.

You will balance forecast information with inventory, scrap and service levels while coordinating with lab resources. You will work with SAP and SAP/APO to develop near and long-term plans, maintain stock levels at multiple sites, and align build schedules with forecasts, new products, and margin goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years production planning with ERP is expected.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and forecasting processes.
• Strong analytical and computer skills, data reporting capability.
• APICS certification strongly preferred; Green Belt a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop near term and long term production plans using SAP/SAP APO.
• Maintain forecast performance and stock levels at local and international sites.
• Coordinate with manufacturing on BOM/Routing changes and costing parity.
• Align build schedules with forecast, new product introductions, and margin goals.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and customer service to optimize inventory and responsiveness.
• Analyze data and structure reports to drive inventory and margin improvements.
